A Practical Parenting Workshop

Save the date! On Saturday, June 14th, we are planning a one-day interactive workshop designed to equip parents with practical tools to guide their teens through social, emotional, and academic challenges. Come for the morning session from 9:30-11:30 covering social emotional strategies and/or the afternoon session from 12:30-2:30 coving academic success.

We're asking you to help us assess the specific needs we should focus on to maximize value and impact. Please fill out the one-question survey below so we can get busy planning the perfect day of learning together.

Itinerary

When: Saturday, June 14 from 9:30 - 2:30
Come to one or both sessions. Specific session topics will be finalized after survey results are reviewed.

Morning Session:
Social Emotional Strategies
9:30 am-11:30 am

Start the day by unlocking the keys to understanding your teen’s emotional world. This session will cover developmental topics to help you understand how to connect with your teen to minimize stress for everyone in the home.

Lunch: 11:30 am-12:30 pm

Time to re-fuel! We will break for an hour to allow participants returning for the afternoon session time to go and grab lunch at any of the delicious local eateries in the area and come back ready to gain more insightful information you can apply immediately.

Afternoon Session:
Academic Planning
12:30pm-2:30 pm

This session will cover key strategies to support teenagers in achieving academic success. Parents will gain insights into fostering motivation, advocating for their teen’s needs, and accessing available resources.
